Aviator vs JetX vs Spaceman: Crash Games Compared

96.2 to 98.9%JetX RTP rangeVERIFIED

Aviator, JetX and Spaceman play almost identically, but their math differs: Aviator runs a fixed 97% RTP, Spaceman 95%, and JetX varies from 96.2% to 98.9% depending on the operator. All three are "crash" games where you bet, watch a multiplier climb, and try to cash out before it crashes.

Formula: The operator picks the certified build · Source: SmartSoft game sheet · Last verified 15 Aug 2026

The shared idea: cash out before the crash

In each game a multiplier starts at 1.00x and rises. At a random point the round ends (“crashes”). If you cashed out first, your stake is multiplied by the value at that moment; if not, you lose the bet. All three offer two simultaneous bets and an auto-cashout setting, so you can lock in one bet early and let another ride. The skill, such as it is, lies entirely in when you choose to exit.

RTP and house edge: where they differ

RTP (return to player) is the long-run percentage of wagers a game pays back. Aviator by Spribe is fixed at 97%, meaning a 3% house edge that no operator can adjust. Spaceman by Pragmatic Play sits at 95%. JetX by SmartSoft Gaming is the outlier: its RTP is configurable, ranging from 96.2% up to 98.9% (a 1.1%-3.8% edge). That means the same JetX game can be more or less favourable depending on the casino, so always check the operator’s stated figure. See our Aviator RTP and JetX RTP guides for detail.

Fairness models: provably fair vs certified RNG

Aviator and JetX use a provably-fair system: a server seed, client seed and nonce combine to generate each result, and you can verify after the fact that the outcome was not altered. Spaceman uses a certified random number generator (RNG) instead of seed-based verification. Both approaches are tested by independent labs; the difference is that provably-fair lets the individual player check a specific round, while certified RNG relies on third-party auditing of the overall system.

What the multiplier odds look like

A useful rule of thumb for crash games: the chance of a round reaching a multiplier of m is roughly RTP divided by m. At Aviator’s 97%, the chance of reaching 2x is about 48.5%, and 10x about 9.7%. Lower RTP shifts these slightly down; higher RTP slightly up. No setting changes the fact that big multipliers are rare by design, which is why chasing them carries the most risk.

Which should you choose?

On pure math, a high-RTP JetX configuration can beat the others, but you cannot rely on it without confirming the operator’s number. Aviator’s fixed 97% is predictable. Spaceman’s 95% is the lowest of the three but still competitive. For most players the deciding factor is presentation and feel rather than the fractional RTP gap, none of which removes the house edge over time.

Quick answers

Which has the highest RTP? A top-configured JetX (up to 98.9%) can, but it varies by operator; Aviator is a fixed 97%.

Are the mechanics different? No, all three are cash-out-before-crash games with two bets and auto-cashout.

Is any of them “due” for a big multiplier? No. Each round is independent; past results do not influence the next.

Correction, 26 July 2026. This page previously gave Spaceman’s RTP as 96.50% and derived its probabilities from that figure. Pragmatic Play’s own game page states 95%. The figure and every number computed from it have been corrected. The 96.50% we published is widely repeated elsewhere and may reflect an earlier or alternative certified build; we publish the studio’s current stated figure and say so. See the RTP version problem and our verification method.

How the numbers on this page were produced
P(reach m) = RTP / m

Every multiplier probability on this page is computed exactly from the crash-curve identity P(reach m) = RTP divided by m. For a 97% RTP build that gives P(2x) = 0.485 and P(100x) = 0.0097. No sampling, no estimation: the identity is exact, and it is why expected value equals RTP at every cash-out target.

Spribe publishes the 97% figure in Aviator's own in-game information panel. The studio website is a client-side application that serves no citable page, so we do not link it as a source. The figure is checkable by any player from the panel itself, and the independent testing bodies below certify the build.
