Editorial Standards
This page explains how PlayStories researches, writes and reviews its content. We publish it because in a topic where money is involved, you deserve to know where our information comes from and how we keep it accurate.
Where our data comes from
- Official provider documentation, RTP, volatility, max win and feature details are taken from the game studio’s own specifications (e.g. Pragmatic Play, BGaming, Spribe, SmartSoft).
- Provably-fair specifications, for crypto/originals games (Plinko, crash, dice), we describe the documented server-seed / client-seed / nonce verification methods.
- Mathematics, odds and probabilities are calculated from published payout tables, not estimated.
Our accuracy rules
- We never invent numbers. If an RTP or statistic is not officially disclosed, we state that it is unknown.
- We separate fact from interpretation, figures are sourced; analysis is clearly analysis.
- We do not make winning promises or present any “strategy” as a way to beat the house edge.
- RTP and game details change; we date our reviews and update them when providers change a game.
Review & corrections
Articles are reviewed by the PlayStories editorial team before publication and checked against the source data above. If you spot an error, an outdated RTP, a changed feature, a broken figure, tell us and we will correct it. Accuracy matters more to us than being first.
Independence & funding
PlayStories is funded by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate commission. Commercial relationships never influence our RTP figures, fairness assessments or analysis. See About for more.
Get the odds before everyone else
One short email when a game's RTP changes, a new build ships, or a "predictor" scam needs debunking. Real math only. No tips, no signals, no spam.
We publish corrections in public. If a number here is wrong, tell us and it changes the same day.
