Plinko Odds Calculator and Simulator
Plinko probabilities are exact binomial math: with n rows, the ball ends in slot k with probability C(n,k) / 2^n. This page is both a calculator and a simulator: read the exact odds, or drop up to 10,000 real balls and watch the bell curve build itself. On the 16-row board the centre slot hits 19.64% of drops and each extreme edge exactly 1 in 65,536, so either edge is 1 in 32,768. Pick your board and see every slot’s true odds; multipliers vary by game version, the probabilities never do.

Verified multiplier tables (Stake, 16 rows)
These are the payouts each landing position pays on the 16-row board. We checked them the only way that cannot lie: multiply every payout by its exact binomial probability and add them up. All four risk levels return between 98.98% and 99.00%, which is the published 99% RTP. A wrong table would not land there.

Expert is the most extreme setting Stake offers, and its structure is worth staring at: the two 10,000x edge slots carry 30.8% of the entire game’s payback. Almost a third of everything Expert ever returns sits behind an outcome that lands once in 32,768 drops. The other side of that trade is the centre, which pays 0.1x, so a typical drop hands back a tenth of the stake. Same 99% RTP as every other setting, delivered in the least usable shape possible. Our 10,000x analysis covers what that means over a real session.
Read the High column and the whole game becomes obvious: five of the nine distinct positions pay 0.2x, and they are the positions where the ball almost always lands. You are funding the 1,000x edge that hits once in 32,768 drops. Low risk simply moves that money back toward the middle. The house keeps the same 1% either way.
Embed this simulator on your site
The simulator is free to embed anywhere: teaching material, a forum post, a blog, a wiki. No signup, no tracking of your readers, no cost. The only condition is that the “Built by PlayStories” credit stays visible.

Simulator: what 10,000 balls actually prove
The simulator drops real balls, one by one, each making its own 16 left-or-right decisions. Run 10,000 and you will almost always see the same thing: roughly 2,000 balls pile up in the centre and zero reach an edge slot. That is not the tool being stingy, it is the 1 in 32,768 edge probability made visible. To expect a single edge hit you would need about three full runs of 10,000. This is the clearest answer to the question people really ask, which is why the 10,000x multiplier exists and why almost nobody ever sees it.

Quick answers
What are the odds of hitting the Plinko max multiplier? On a 16-row board, 1 in 65,536 per specific edge, 1 in 32,768 for either edge.
Do risk settings change the odds? No. Risk changes the multiplier prizes on the slots; the landing probabilities are pure binomial and never move.
Is there a free Plinko simulator? Yes, this page. Pick rows and ball count, press Drop, and every ball is independently simulated. No signup, no money, no casino.
Does more rows mean better chances? More rows means rarer edges and bigger prizes: the 8-row edge is 1 in 128, the 16-row edge 1 in 32,768.
