Sweet Powernudge FAQ: volatility, Powernudge behavior, and what your game history really shows
Sweet PowerNudge is a high-volatility Pragmatic Play cluster-pays slot with a default RTP of 96.08% and a 5,000x max win. Played on a 6x5 grid, its PowerNudge mechanic nudges winning reels down to chain extra wins, boosted by a multiplier reel.
What is Sweet PowerNudge?
Sweet PowerNudge is a candy-themed cluster-pays slot from Pragmatic Play, released in December 2022 and rolled out widely in 2023. Instead of fixed paylines, wins form when 5 or more matching symbols connect in a cluster on the 6×5 grid. The defining feature, PowerNudge, then keeps the action going by nudging reels after each win, which is what sets this game apart from a standard tumbling slot.
How does the PowerNudge feature work?
After any winning cluster, the win is paid and every reel that contained a winning symbol nudges down by one step, revealing new symbols at the top. If a fresh win forms, the reels nudge again, repeating for as long as new wins keep appearing. This chaining is similar in spirit to tumbling reels but uses a downward nudge rather than removing symbols, giving the feature its name.
What does the multiplier reel do?
A separate multiplier reel sits beside the main grid. In the base game it can activate at random, applying a 1x to 10x multiplier to wins, and it nudges alongside the main reels so multipliers can stack. In the free-spins round the multiplier reel is always active, which is why the bonus is the main route toward the 5,000x max win.

The free-spins round is triggered by landing 4 or more lollipop scatter symbols, awarding 7 free spins. Collecting 4 more scatters during the bonus adds 3 extra spins. Sweet PowerNudge also offers an Ante Bet to increase scatter frequency and a Bonus Buy to enter the feature directly, where available. Note that buy features change the cost per round, not the underlying odds, and may be restricted in some jurisdictions.
